Beethoven’s The Fifth Symphony begins with four notes everyone knows but… Do you know all the piece is a musical game? Do you know that poor Beethoven was going deaf? The most famous performance in the history of music explained by David Peurtas and played by the Granollers Chamber Orchestra music with the collaboration of Gloria Puertas (signing).

We begin a season of musical journeys with a Mendelssohn, which tell us of Goethe’s poems, of the immensity of a calm sea which seems in the beginning not to let you move forward… and a walk, after arriving to land in the hands of classism of a young Mozart.
The second half will show Beethoven’s anxiety for his deafness and surrounded by the political unrest in Europe. A great internal voyage,full of creative fury which will end up with the conception of one of the most important and profound works he composed.

He fell asleep and didn’t realise around d him the fairies were dancing nymphs, the magic of the Forrest and the music of the wind. A journey through different instrumental combinations that will show us diverse landscapes, such as the virtuosity of the trumpet (no.2), the violin (no.4) and the harpsichord (no.5) or the suppression of the contrast between a small group of soloists and a larger string of accompanying strings.

The J.S.Bach Brandenburg Concerts represent a summary of the tradition of the baroque Grosso concert and an overshadowing of the instrumental concert of the imminent classical era. A journey through time!
