As a result of the desire to create an equable musical training, with personality and quality, the OCGr was born in 92-93 at the hands of EMM and Granollers conservatory. Nowadays it has become the resident orchestra in the auditorium theatre of the same city. This helped it grow, mature and link it’s projects to its surroundings and create for the first time, a children’s orchestra, family audiences, young future musicians and the participation of diverse centres for learning disabilities…

Musical training rooted in the territory
Granollers Chamber Orchestra, a musical training rooted in the territory, drives and sustains different projects in the territory, the surrounding areas and not forgetting the role of giving an equable training,developing a musical panorama and culture of the country.Also programming a fixed season of concerts in the Auditorium Theatre andin other Granollers concert halls. Working nonstop for years in different educational and social projects parallel with the musical works in the city and the country.
